COMMUNICATIONS
You know you do good work in our community. How do you tell that story to motivate support?
FUND DEVELOPMENT
To whom do you tell your story? How do you create a sense of urgency? How and when do you attach "an ask" to your story?

Through strategic communications and fund development planning, your organization can garner support beyond your current success. With 18 years of professional experience; access to creative, experienced partners; and practical recommendations and support that fit your organization, Leona can help you answer the important questions of:
Who is the right prospect? Who does the asking? How to ask? When is the right time? What is the right project? How much to ask for? Why support your organization?
SERVICES

All services are tailored to fit the needs of individual clients:

Fund Development Planning – clarifies where and how development work fits within the larger organizational Strategic and/or Business Plan. Planning is critical to the success of any comprehensive Fund Development program, ensuring time and resources are allocated for the best possible return on investment over the long term.
Case Documents – succinctly summarize what the organization is and outline investment opportunities. These documents form a valuable cornerstone for development work. The Case Documents provide a simple to use "cut and paste" model for grant applications, funding proposals and annual gift campaigns as well as a formal, printed document with easy to alter fact sheets for use in major gift proposals.
Communications Planning – clarifies where and how communications work fits within the larger organizational Strategic and/or Business Plan and what type of resources are required, both human and financial, to create a successful program.
Annual Reports/Newsletters/Websites/Annual Fund Letters/Grant Proposals – are all tools used to communicate with your donors, prospects, clients, members, sponsors and volunteers; it is important to make the best use of these tools to tell your story, create a sense of urgency and garner support for your organization. Leona has a number of technical partners and years of experience in project management to take her work in writing and editing to the finished product.
Other services provided in partnership with Dree Thomson-Diamond, ACFRE:
Audit Study – provides an extensive professional overview of an organizations current position, identifying strengths and pinpointing areas that require strategic focus in preparation for increased fund development work.
Strategic Planning – clarifies where an organization is going, how it intends to get there, and creates a foundation from which sound budgeting and forward planning can occur.
Fund Development Policies & Procedures – custom tailored to the needs and philosophy of your organization, these documents provide guidelines and a framework in order to achieve success.
Governance Roles, Responsibilities & Terms of Reference – an organization's governance is only as strong as the people involved, the clarity with which these people come to their responsibilities and the organization's documentation.
Workshops – a series of half and full-day workshops tailored to address your organization's needs in order to strengthen operations, enhance board and staff resources, gain valuable information and move into active fundraising.
