Volunteer

AFP Edmonton and Area Chapter is governed by volunteer leaders within our community. There are a number of committees working to deliver our mission.

New volunteers are always welcome.

If any of the following committees interest you, please contact Heather Manning at ph: (780) 960-4188 or by e-mail to info@afpedmonton.ca

This committee is responsible for the excellent professional advancement programs offered by the chapter, such as the First Course, the Survey Course and the CFRE program. This committee is the link between AFP Edmonton and CFRE, the organization that provides the only formal certification for professional fundraisers.

The ongoing professional development offered at AFP luncheons and workshops are planned and implemented by the programming committee. Speakers and workshop presenters are suggested, selected and booked between 6 and 12 months in advance by our volunteers.

The overall objective of the Committee is to provide scholarships and bursaries in support of membership education.
