The Edmonton & Area Chapter of AFP, founded in 1996, is a member of the worldwide Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). AFP advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice effective and ethical fundraising.
The Edmonton & Area Chapter has grown into a thriving and dynamic leadership group of over 200 members as well as an active partner in conferences, workshops and leadership presentations throughout western Canada.

Our mission is to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs within the Edmonton area and beyond.
