National Philanthropy Day is an annual awards luncheon held to honor and recognize those who contribute their time, talents, financial support and other resources to Houston's philanthropic organizations. The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Edmonton & Area Chapter's Annual National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon gives us an opportunity to say "Thank You" and collectively express our appreciation by recognizing individuals, corporations, foundations, and fundraisers for their time, talent and dedication to the spirit of giving.
Spotlighting the great tradition of philanthropy that is so much a part of the Edmonton & Area community, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Edmonton & Area Chapter is proud to host one of the largest celebrations of philanthropy, with this year's event scheduled for November 16th in the beautiful Hall D at the Shaw Conference Centre.
The Edmonton & Area Philanthropy scene is thriving! As Organizations remain true to their Missions, provide essential and meaningful services, and expand their access, more volunteers get involved and more donors support their causes.
NPD Awards exist to highlight the outstanding accomplishments of these organization, and to recognize the volunteers and donors of our community who serve these Organizations. With this recognition we not only say thank you for a job well done, we suggest to others the high standard of service and support that characterizes the Edmonton & Area community.
The primary pathway to highlight the most accurate picture of our philanthropic environment is to identify, nominate and recognize the outstanding Organizations and people serving and supporting our causes.
