Amy Gomez, President and CEO of AG Grant Development, brings over 17 years of management experience in the charitable sector and more than 13 years of expertise in fund development. Her work focuses on grant and proposal development, program design, and the creation of logic models and evaluation frameworks that help organizations clearly demonstrate impact.
Since founding AG Grant Development in June 2018, Amy has partnered with organizations across a wide range of sectors, including recreation, health care, seniors care, childcare, housing, human and social services and others. Through this work, Amy has helped clients secure more than $200 million in funding to advance their missions and expand services in their communities. With such a broad portfolio of work, it’s rare that Amy encounters a grant opportunity she hasn’t had experience with.
Amy is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) and serves as President of the GPA Canadian Chapter. In this role, she collaborates with grant professionals across North America and participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with the evolving funding landscape and best practices in proposal development – even the emergence of AI that has shook up our world – let’s hear it for the em dash.
