Development Officer
Nature Conservancy of Canada
Salary Range: $49,140.00 To $59,960.00
The Development Officer spends the majority of their time on growing NCC’s Leaders in Conservation (LIC) program in Alberta. The LIC program provides unique opportunities and benefits to individuals who make an annual contribution of $1,000 or more in support of NCC's work. The program is a key pillar of NCC’s private philanthropy revenue.
Working closely with the entire development team and reporting to the Senior Development Officer, the Development Officer plays a key role in coordinating and implementing the program to increase revenues from individuals, foundations, and corporations; works with all members of the development team to ensure all donors are being stewarded properly through regular reports, recognition events, and customized recognition opportunities; and authors and distributes communications materials whose goal is to maximize general revenues for Alberta. This will be fulfilled in collaboration with their counterpart Development Officer LIC working in Calgary.
